Official barcodes for every product, location, and shipment
GS1 UAE Tools help you get your codes and product data right before they reach the shelf. Calculate check digits, estimate how many GTINs you need, find the right product classification, encode and decode barcodes, and test EPCIS events and RFID tags — all free, all in one place.

Work out the final check digit for any GTIN, GLN or SSCC, so every number you print scans correctly the first time.

Tell us how many products and variants you sell and we'll recommend the right GTIN package for your range.

Find the right Global Product Classification brick for every item you list.

Turn GS1 data into a barcode string, or read what an existing barcode carries.

Build, validate and test EPCIS events that record where your products go.

Encode and decode the EPC on RFID tags from your GS1 identification keys.
Quick answers to the questions we hear most about GS1 barcodes.
ITF-14 barcodes were introduced to allow companies to print barcodes directly onto corrugated packaging materials, and are generally scanned at goods in transit, in warehouses, and in distribution centers. ITF-14 barcodes are chiefly used on outer cases (trade item groupings) and cannot be scanned at the Retail Point-of-Sale.
Serial Shipping Container Code can be used by companies to identify a logistic unit, which can be any combination of trade items packaged together for storage and/or transport purposes; for example a case, pallet, or parcel.
Barcode printing is not included in GS1 services, but there are specialized companies for label printing.
